Extinction of the Exaverse is a game first.
It is built around gameplay, progression, seasonal content, and collectible rewards. Our use of blockchain is not meant to replace fun, introduce unnecessary complexity, or turn the game into a financial product. We are using blockchain for a much narrower reason:
If a player earns or obtains a qualifying digital item, that item should have real ownership rules.
The history of crypto in games has been rough. Too often, blockchain has been used as a shortcut for speculation instead of a tool that improves the player experience. That history created real skepticism, and in many cases, that skepticism is deserved.
We understand that.
Our view is simple. Most blockchain games have focused too much on tokens and not enough on making a good game. We believe this technology is only useful when it supports gameplay instead of distracting from it. In Extinction of the Exaverse, blockchain is used to make digital ownership more transparent, more durable, and more player friendly, without changing the core user experience.
We want to help set a better standard.
That means using blockchain in ways that are clear, limited, and intentional. It should support the game behind the scenes, not dominate the experience. Players should be able to understand what they have access to, what they own, and why certain rules exist, all without needing to become crypto experts.
We are using blockchain because it can enable clearer digital ownership rules for certain eligible assets.
In traditional games, items usually exist inside closed systems where the developer controls every aspect of access and persistence. Players may spend time or money obtaining an item, but the rules around that item often remain entirely hidden inside a private system.
Blockchain allows a better model for certain assets.
When an item is earned or obtained in Extinction of the Exaverse, we can define clear rules around access, ownership, scarcity, and transferability in a more transparent system. Those rules do not need to be vague. They can be explicit.
That does not mean every asset should be tradable.
That does not mean every system should become financialized.
That does not mean the user experience should become worse.
It means that where ownership matters, ownership rules should be real.
Our goal is to prove that this can be done responsibly. We want to preserve the feel of a normal game while using blockchain only where it genuinely improves the structure of digital assets.
Game first: Gameplay, progression, and fun come before blockchain features.
Ownership with clear rules: Players should understand what they have access to, what they own, what is restricted, and why.
No speculation driven design: Our systems are designed around gameplay utility, seasonal participation, and collectible ownership, not financial promises.
Seasonal integrity: Seasonal rewards should feel meaningful during the season while still respecting long term ownership structures after the season ends.
Familiar user experience: Blockchain should support the product quietly and cleanly. It should not overwhelm the experience or create unnecessary friction.
Responsible implementation: Purchase, access, and account flows may vary by platform or region in order to comply with billing rules, content policies, technical requirements, and applicable law.
At launch, Extinction of the Exaverse is expected to use blockchain backed infrastructure for a limited set of systems:
1. Seasonal Battle Pass access records
2. Seasonal Battle Pass reward collectibles
3. TIME premium utility balances
The exact user facing flow for obtaining, accessing, or displaying these systems may vary by platform and region.
Seasonal Battle Pass: The Battle Pass is intended to function as a season specific access record tied to a player account. Its purpose is to represent that a player obtained premium season access during the valid season window. It is not meant to function as a tradable asset.
Purchase window: Each seasonal Battle Pass is only available during its active season. Once the season ends:
- that season’s Battle Pass is no longer offered as current season access
- that season’s Battle Pass remains non transferable
- that season’s Battle Pass reward items are no longer offered by us as current season items
Post season completion: If a player obtained a Battle Pass during the active season, our design intent is that they may continue completing it after the season ends, subject to the live product rules in effect at that time. This is designed to preserve fairness for players who participated during the valid season window.
Why the Battle Pass is non transferable: The Battle Pass is an access record, not a market item.It exists to preserve season participation, reward eligibility, and progression rights tied to a specific season. Keeping it non transferable helps protect progression integrity and prevents season access from being repackaged as a speculative asset.
Battle Pass Reward Collectibles: Eligible Battle Pass rewards are intended to be represented as blockchain backed digital collectibles. These items are designed to preserve long term ownership structure for earned seasonal rewards while protecting the integrity of active seasonal progression.
During the active season: During a live season, eligible seasonal reward items are expected to remain restricted from player to player transfer. This supports fair progression during the active season and helps ensure that live rewards remain tied to participation.
After the season ends: After the season ends, certain eligible reward items from that season may become transferable, subject to platform support, regional availability, technical requirements, and compliance constraints.
Scarcity model: Seasonal reward collectibles are tied to a limited season window. After a season closes, we do not intend to reopen that same season’s primary reward path as current season content.
TIME Premium Utility: TIME is the premium utility balance used within the Extinction of the Exaverse ecosystem.TIME is designed as controlled digital utility. It is not intended to function as an open market asset.
Restricted behavior: Our design intent at launch is that TIME is not player to player transferable and is not presented as a tradable or speculative product.
Platform specific acquisition: Where TIME or other in app digital goods are offered inside the mobile game experience, the method by which they are made available may vary by platform and region.
Purpose of TIME: TIME exists to support product utility within the Extinction of the Exaverse ecosystem. It is not marketed as an investment, a store of value, or a promise of financial return.
Blockchain is not only useful for open trading. It can also be useful for durable records, interoperable account infrastructure, transparent rules, and long term ownership structure for eligible digital items. Some assets benefit from blockchain backed infrastructure even when transferability is limited or disabled.
We believe that is the right approach for games. Not every blockchain backed item should behave like a freely tradable token. In many cases, a more restricted model is better for gameplay clarity, fairness, and platform compatibility.
Ownership Model: Extinction of the Exaverse uses different rules for different asset types.
Access records: Seasonal Battle Pass records reflect season participation and reward eligibility. They are not tradable.
Reward collectibles: Eligible seasonal reward items may carry different ownership rules depending on whether a season is live, whether transfer restrictions are active, and whether broader functionality is supported in the relevant environment.
Premium utility: TIME is controlled premium utility. It is not presented as a speculative or freely tradable asset.
Players should expect Extinction of the Exaverse to feel like a game, not a crypto product.
Our goal is for gameplay, progression, seasonal content, and collectible rewards to remain at the center of the experience. Blockchain is used to support certain asset rules behind the scenes, not to dominate the experience.
Players should expect:
- clear seasonal rules
- clear descriptions of digital item behavior
- no promises of profit or appreciation
- no requirement to trade digital items to enjoy the game
- no requirement to understand crypto markets
- platform specific differences where required for compliance or technical reasons
Do I need crypto knowledge to play Extinction of the Exaverse?
- No. The game is designed to be understandable and enjoyable as a normal game experience.
Is the Battle Pass tradable?
- No. The Battle Pass is intended to remain non transferable.
Can I still complete my Battle Pass after the season ends?
- If you obtained access during the active season, our design intent is that you can continue completing it after the season ends, subject to the live rules of the product.
Are seasonal reward collectibles immediately transferable?
- No. During an active season, eligible seasonal reward items are expected to remain transfer restricted.
When can seasonal reward collectibles become transferable?
- After the season ends, certain eligible reward items may become transferable, subject to platform support, regional availability, and live product rules.
Is TIME tradable?
- No. TIME is intended as controlled premium utility and is not presented as a tradable market asset.
Will all platforms have the exact same flows?
- Not necessarily. Purchase, access, and display flows may differ by platform or region in order to comply with store rules, legal requirements, or technical limitations.
