Extinction of the Exaverse, often shortened to Exaverse, is a vertical, one handed mobile roguelike dungeon crawler built around deliberate movement, timing, and long run decision making.
You play in portrait mode using tap based controls. Tap adjacent tiles to move, tap enemies to attack, and tap gems when positioned correctly to mine them.
The game is easy to pick up, but deeper runs depend on planning ahead, building real synergy, and knowing when to play aggressively or slow things down.
Core Run Loop
Each run is divided into biomes, and each biome contains 10 stages.
Every stage follows the same high level flow:
- Select a boon at the start of the stage
- Explore, move, and fight enemies
- Mine gems to gain powerups and progress
- rReach the exit portal
Stage 10 of every biome is a boss fight. Bosses test whether your build has real synergy or just short term power.
Boons and Powerups
Boons permanently modify your run. They can increase damage, improve survivability, alter gem behavior, or change how powerups work.
Gems are not just currency. They:
- Trigger powerups
- Interact with specific boons
- Shape how aggressive or defensive you can play
Powerups are strong but limited. Consumables are even stronger, but scarce. Using the right tool at the right moment is often the difference between a shallow run and a deep one.
Exaverse rewards patience, positioning, and planning more than speed.
Explore the Exaverse
As you begin exploring Exaverse, each run becomes a balance of movement, combat, and resource management.
Learning how to combine different abilities, boons, and upgrades is the key to surviving deeper stages.
